Construction Control Representative

Acts as Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for assigned projects and maintains the COR files in accordance with applicable regulations.

Interprets the intent of plans and specifications, and renders decisions to the contractor.

Participates with the contractor and subcontractors in planning the satisfactory accomplishment of the projects.

Assists in the preparation of sketches of design changes and estimates of cost for modifications to contracts.

Submits progress reports and maintains records of work accomplished.

Spot checks contractor operations for compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.

Reviews and approves submittals which do not require specialized engineering knowledge and skills.
