QA Engineer Our client, a leading innovator in autonomous fleet management systems, is seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a QA Engineer, you will be an essential part of the Quality Assurance department supporting backend services for autonomous vehicle operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proactive problem‑solving abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: QA Engineer
Location: Foster City, CA
Pay Range: $37.50/hr + Benefits
Responsibilities
Design and implement comprehensive test plans and procedures for backend services supporting autonomous fleet operations
Validate and verify the functionality, efficiency, and security of APIs, services, and data models used by rider mobile apps, robots, and fleet management tools
Test vehicle agent components to ensure robust communication between vehicle hardware and backend systems
Develop and execute automated test scripts simulating multi‑agent workflows, resource allocation, and optimization processes
Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure backend systems are scalable, observable, and fault‑tolerant
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or related field
3+ years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in software or backend systems
Proficiency with Python scripting and automation
Experience working with APIs, including understanding documentation and specifications
Ability to analyze backend logs for troubleshooting and bug reporting
