Warehouse Manager

We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to join our team in Houston, United States. In this role, you will oversee all warehouse operations, manage a diverse team, and ensure efficient inventory management while maintaining the highest safety standards. The ideal candidate will be a decisive leader who can optimize processes, drive performance improvements, and contribute to our organization's continued success in a fast-paced logistics environment.

  • Supervise and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities
  • Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to meet performance targets and maintain a positive work environment
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and conduct regular cycle counts
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies; conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions
  • Analyze warehouse performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
  • Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to optimize warehouse efficiency and meet customer delivery requirements
  • Manage warehouse budget, control expenses, and recommend cost-saving initiatives
  • Maintain equipment and facilities in good working condition; schedule maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline warehouse operations
  • Prepare reports on warehouse performance, staffing, and operational challenges for senior management
Your Profile

**Required:**

  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse management or supervisory experience in a logistics or distribution environment
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse safety best practices
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to make data-driven decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software systems quickly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

**Preferred:**

  • Forklift certification or other relevant material handling equipment certifications
  • Experience with lean management or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Familiarity with logistics software and supply chain management concepts
  • Experience managing multiple warehouse locations or large-scale operations
  • Background in inventory control or supply chain optimization
