Key Responsibilities
Financial Transaction Analysis and Application : Assess initial per‑semester housing and dining charges, audit reconciliation reports, manage rate tables and refund tables, ensure accurate integration with student information systems, benchmark rates, and resolve discrepancies with finance partners.
Business and Data Analysis : Prepare semesterly financial statements for Finance and Administration, run Oracle financial statements, review month‑to‑date and year‑to‑date financials, generate performance summaries, create reports for budgetary transactions, maintain student yield and retention data, and produce reports for university needs.
Student Service Support : Identify at‑risk students, support tuition appeals and financial aid coordination, provide outreach for students with balances, facilitate housing and residence life roster verification, and partner with New Student and Family Programs to deliver the BSO Check‑In experience.
Student Affairs Professional : Contribute to the Division of Student Affairs, lead collaboration across departments, maintain knowledge of university initiatives, and pursue professional development.
Position Profile Responsible for data input, analysis, and management to inform conclusions. Performs sophisticated reporting, monitors data accuracy, defines future data needs, and provides strategic financial planning.
Level Summary Provides professional expertise to the university community, serves as a resource and guide, completes essential operational tasks, and collaborates on larger projects or initiatives aligned with department or university goals.
Organizational Responsibilities
Supervisory: May mentor or train new employees.
Fiscal: No budgetary responsibility; may validate transactions.
Problem Solving: Handles a variety of problems with some independence.
Independence of Action: Some supervision; works independently on routine tasks.
Communication and Collaboration: Collaborates with team members and shares knowledge.
Physical Requirements: Primarily desk‑based; occasional travel.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree
Experience in housing or student services finance
Advanced analytical or reporting tools proficiency

Compensation Pay Grade 16: $44,592.00 – $74,196.00 (exempt)
