You will be a Subject Matter Expert for the Solutions team, training and growing remote engineering teams and supporting quotation activities.ResponsibilitiesTrain and grow engineering teams across hubs for relevant product lines.Work with regional organization to meet and exceed engineering quality and KPIs.Ensure appropriate performance of remote teams with regional management.Provide input to Process & Data Management (PDM) team for effective training materials.Provide input to Product Standardization (PS) team for design guidelines and standard part libraries.Provide input to Digital Knowledgebase (DKB) team for enhanced configurator rules and standards.Own and manage hub employee cost centers against planned budgets.Create and maintain a skills matrix for the hub engineering team.Identify training gaps and develop training classes.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.10+ years of experience supporting application engineering teams with solution proposals.3+ years of front‑end quotation experience.Ability to analyze customer technical specifications and single‑line diagrams, select appropriate product offerings, provide alternative solutions, and optimize profitability.Basic financial knowledge for business planning and lifecycle management.Ability to spot market trends and collaborate with Marketing and Technology to close gaps.Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office; willingness to learn product configuration and pricing applications.Travel required – 10–15 %.Preferred QualificationsExcellent collaboration, leadership, and decision‑making in a team environment.Strong communication skills with internal and external customers.Prior leadership or mentorship experience.3+ years of quotation or front‑end work focusing on power distribution applications.Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, UL, and NEMA standards for medium‑voltage switchgear and transformer applications.Experience designing and applying electrical distribution products for medium‑voltage metal‑clad or metal‑enclosed switchgear and transformers.Knowledge of single‑line drawings, schematics, relay protection & control schemes, and communication network diagrams.1–2 years of engineering experience in EPC, manufacturing, utility, or corporate environment (advanced degree may substitute for 2 years).BenefitsHealth and wellness benefits may be found at
Pay range: $91,463 – $156,794 annually, with a target incentive of 10 % of salary.
