We're looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team and take ownership of the data infrastructure that powers our internal analytics and reporting capabilities. You'll be the primary technical resource responsible for maintaining and evolving our ELT pipelines and Snowflake data warehouse, working closely with a team of analysts and systems administrators who depend on reliable, well-structured data to do their jobs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Own the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and enhancement of our ELT pipelines and Snowflake data warehouse
Diagnose and resolve pipeline failures, data quality issues, and performance bottlenecks
Design, build, and document new data models and transformations as analytical needs evolve
Ensure data reliability, consistency, and availability for downstream consumers
Support and extend API integration workflows built on Boomi and Python
Maintain and contribute to custom Python applications developed by the team
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to scope and deliver new data integration projects
Contribute to the evaluation of modern data tooling options as we assess potential improvements to our current architecture
Document systems, processes, and decisions to build institutional knowledge over time
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics or similar subjects is preferred
3-5 years of hands‑on experience in a data engineering role
Strong proficiency with SQL and data modelling concepts for analytical workloads
Practical experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse platform
Familiarity with ELT/ETL pipeline concepts and tools — you don't need to know our specific stack on day one, but you should be able to learn it quickly
Experience with WhereScape RED, Matillion, Airbyte, dbt, or comparable ELT automation tools
Working knowledge of Python for data processing and scripting
Experience with API integrations and working with REST‑based data sources
A methodical approach to troubleshooting — comfortable digging into unfamiliar systems to find the root cause
Experience with GitHub for version control
Additional Skills
Exposure to enterprise integration platforms (Boomi or similar iPaaS tools)
Experience with Oracle EBS and SalesForce
Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration concepts
Experience working closely with BI or analytics teams as a technical partner
