Location: Malvern, Pennsylvania This is a hybrid role, with 3 days onsite and up to 2 days per week work from home eligible. Responsibilities include architecting and designing software solutions to support and enhance retail industry products, and gathering both customer and internal requirements to design solutions that meet these requirements. Requirements: No degree and 7 years of progressively more responsible software development experience in an object-oriented environment in the retail payment industry. Alternatively: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of software development experience in an object-oriented environment in the retail payment industry. With either combination of education and experience, must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: Designing Point of Sale integration solutions Working with remote teams Developing with technologies including.NET framework and Linux Developing in one of the following: C++, C#, or Java Writing formal specifications using software design methodologies Writing specifications for REST API and serial protocols Writing data exchange specifications to third-party systems Experience may be gained concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
