This is a funded and immediate position. The salary ranges from $130,000 to $140,000 and includes a $10,000 sign‑on bonus, $2,000 in reimbursable relocation expenses, and a $1,200 annual compliance bonus.
Benefits include PTO, 401(k) match at 5%, profit sharing, company‑paid life insurance, dental, vision, STD/LTD, and two options under a national medical plan with employee contribution.
Position Description
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, including day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
Provide support for hardware problems and remain involved in resolution.
Configure and manage Linux operating systems; install and load operating system software; troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components.
Create bash shell scripts to aid in system stability and deployment repeatability.
Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems.
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform system capacity analysis and planning.
Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
Required Experience and Qualifications
TS/SCI with a Polygraph
Level 1: Four years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Level 2: Nine years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Four additional years of relevant system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Bash programming experience
Perl/Python programming and Linux (Redhat/CentOS 5 or greater) experience
Knowledge of web technologies (html, xml, Java2E, etc.)
Experience with virtualization and Puppet 3 or greater
