Responsibilities
Collaborate with a driven team to recommend and schedule server repairs
Ensure data integrity by performing periodic backups of servers
Keep systems up‑to‑date by patching software and operating systems
Optimize software and system configurations for peak performance
Quickly troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve VDI‑related issues
Perform capacity planning through ongoing monitoring, alerting, and reporting of resource utilization levels and errors
Work closely with our cybersecurity team to maintain and monitor system security measures
Configure and maintain virtual networks in a hypervisor environment
Apply DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) as required
Monitor license and certificate status on systems and coordinate renewals and installations
Qualifications
An active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
University Degree (BA/BS) in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience
Information Assurance/DoD 8570 certification or within six (6) months of hire
Experience managing Microsoft Active Directory, GPO management, Certificates Administration, and Domain Controller functional services
Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10 and 11)
Knowledge of Microsoft productivity software (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Access, etc.)
Ability to inventory and document equipment and software
Professional and courteous customer service skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high‑pressure environment
Desired
Proven knowledge of computer security principles and DoD security protocols
Working knowledge of VMware Horizon View, VMware vCenter, VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure

Pay Range $60,100 - $123,200
