Since 1927, we have served government, industrial, and commercial clients by providing innovative solutions. We are currently searching for a Design Engineer – Civil to join our Civil team. Responsibilities
Provide strong quality management and quality assurance for all design plans and deliverables. Support Civil Engineering team members on ongoing projects. Perform AutoCAD Civil3D analysis and design of roadways, trails, sidewalks, water main, sanitary and storm sewer systems, grading and earthwork calculations, and site improvements. Use Microsoft Excel to develop project bid item tables, quantities, and cost opinions. Prepare construction plans and specifications, site plans, grading and drainage plans, studies, and reports for a wide range of public and private infrastructure systems. Assist with field engineering duties or survey crew support during construction of various projects. Manage work activities and team responsibilities, and report on status of project tasks to supervisors and team members. Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Previous experience or training with AutoCADCivil3D. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word). Prior Civil Engineering or construction experience, including internships. Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret engineering plans and topographic maps. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Location
The position is open to candidates residing in Indiana, Michigan, or Wisconsin. Candidates willing to relocate are encouraged to indicate this in their application.
