Provide vision, oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. Develop and execute business and technical strategies and goals. Manage a multi‑skilled team of analytics professionals focused on the creation of key business enablers which span all facets of analytics, including Artificial Intelligence (AI). Support Finance Analytics strategy and roadmap, lead the design and execution of the roadmap’s vision and goals. Support the technical strategy and governance integrating industry trends and best practice with the Boeing business model. Ensure organizational success through the usage of project management best practices, sound technical approaches and governance, security and compliance, and operational stability and maturity. Work effectively in collaborative analytics environments using modern analytics practices (code reviews, feature branches, agile delivery) and provide technical leadership across cross‑functional teams. Completion of an assessment is required as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove the candidate from consideration. Basic Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in SQL/T‑SQL. At least 1 year of experience in programming and data analysis languages such as R and/or Python. Strong communication skills to work with both technical and non‑technical audiences. Experience working with cross‑functional or cross‑organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions. Experience and‑or exposure to artificial intelligence and machine learning. At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temporary manager, large scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership". Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, operations research, information systems, bioinformatics, economics, computational biology, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or similar quantitative fields). At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role (manager, project manager, team lead, etc.). Experience in a formal management role in a technical field. Experience working in technology, manufacturing, or business analytics. Experience working in a role that develops Data Science solutions as part of a cross‑functional team that includes Data Engineers, Product Owners, and Business Intelligence Analysts. Experience with infrastructure such as code, automation tools, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) for data infrastructure. Experience with security, privacy, and governance for sensitive financial data, including access controls, encryption, and SOX/compliance requirements. Experience optimizing cost and performance for cloud data environments. Experience in Finance domain (Earned Value Management (EVM), accounting, treasury, reconciliation, payments, FP&A) or working closely with Finance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Ability to mentor and provide technical leadership across cross‑functional teams. Pay & Benefits
The total rewards package includes competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Eligible employees can enroll in various benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work. Pay is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and market considerations. Summary pay range: $173,400 – $234,600. Conflict of Interest & Compliance
