Position Summary RCM Health Care Services is seeking a full-time or part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person, school-based services to high school students in Concord, CA for the 2026–2027 school year. In this role, you will evaluate, develop, and implement treatment plans to address communication disorders and ensure students can fully benefit from their educational programs while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities Schedule / Shift
School-year schedule aligned with academic calendar (2026–2027)
Full-time or part-time opportunities available
High school setting Key Duties:
Conduct formal and informal evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and speech/language therapy plans
Provide individual and group therapy services addressing speech, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic disorders
Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success and implement accommodations
Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with parents and stakeholders
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools when appropriate Requirements Education
Required:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Licenses & Certifications
Required:
Valid California Speech Language Pathologist License
Required:
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (or ability to obtain within first year if CFY) Additional Requirements
Successful completion of fingerprinting/background check (employee-paid)
Knowledge of evaluation procedures, diagnostic tools, and treatment methodologies
Understanding of federal, state, and local regulations related to special education Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
Ability to assess, interpret, and present diagnostic data clearly
Strong organizational and caseload management skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
