Job Location: Corporate Headquarters Miami - Doral, FL 33172 Reports to: Inbound Manager Location: Miami, USA Function: Operations Direct Reports: No Purpose At DASI, the Inbound Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all incoming material (and the related paperwork) meets the quality inspection standards in accordance with DASI’s Quality Management System (QMS). Key accountabilities Perform visual inspections of incoming parts and materials. Inspect and identify material and related documentation as prescribed by the purchase/repair order, highlighting any non-conformance or omission. Perform review of physical attributes, quantity, and records for release. Enter, verify, and validate the accuracy of data input into the DASI database. Comply with ESD (electrostatic discharge) requirements when receiving ESD material. Work with Quality Assurance department in continuous improvement projects. Perform all other duties as assigned. Able to cope well under pressure and resolve issues and problems using their own initiative. Able to work effectively to tight deadlines and targets. Able to work in a fast-moving environment where a pro‑active, can‑do attitude is needed to achieve goals. Knowledge of MS Office Suite or equivalent.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to liaise with all levels of the organization. Demonstrated professional style. Qualifications High School Graduate or GED – Required. Minimum 1 year processing aviation surplus parts is required. Minimum 1 year job related experience is helpful. ISO and/or AS Quality Standard knowledge – a Plus.
