We’re looking for a Solutions Architect who’s excited to turn complex challenges into elegant, scalable solutions. In this role, you’ll design, build, and support technologies that power audit, tax, and accounting production; helping teams work smarter by reducing manual effort through thoughtful automation, seamless integrations, and data‑driven processes. You’ll collaborate closely with architects, data teams, technology strategists, and practitioners to create secure, well‑governed solutions that are reusable, well documented, and operationally reliable. If you’re passionate about responsible automation, enterprise‑grade architecture, and delivering lasting business value at scale, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact where technology and professional services meet. The role will begin with an onboarding period of approximately 3 months working fully on-site. After this initial period, the role will transition to a hybrid schedule, with 1–2 days per week in the office. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Analyze technical aspects of existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation to reduce manual data entry using current technology stack and identify gaps. Perform system and interface testing to ensure seamless data flow and compatibility across platforms. Build repeatable processes for transforming client data for tax returns, audits, and financial reporting. Ensure integrations comply with firm policies and data security protocols. Monitor system performance and implement measures to safeguard sensitive financial data. Participate in planning sessions for new tools and upgrades, providing input on integration feasibility as prioritized in the operational enterprise roadmap. Review technical documents with IT to ensure business requirements are adequately reflected in technical planning documents. Provide Tier 2 support for integration‑related issues, including diagnosing and resolving system errors. Collaborate with IT Operations and practitioner teams to ensure timely resolution of technical problems. Document integration processes and maintain updated technical guides for internal users. Continuously analyze and look for new ideas (innovate), task efficiency and process improvement. Participate in planning and implementation of enterprise system rollouts, upgrades, and configuration changes. Design and transform data collections to be optimized for accessibility, scalability and accuracy. Ensure enterprise tools and resources are built to keep pace with business goals. Keep up with feature and functionality changes. Research and recommend upgrades or platform changes as appropriate. Assist in designing and development of new reports, programs, and data models. Participate in related acceptance and performance testing. Assist in maintenance of data inventory and upkeep of standard definitions. Establish annual goals in line with the overall team and firm. Meet regularly with the project team for post‑implementation reviews, active project updates and to discuss alignment with enterprise endeavors. Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the department director and routinely meet to keep apprised of operational and governance initiatives. Assist in triaging IT support tickets when required. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; or a combination of education and directly related work experience. Experience: 5+ years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility in accounting systems or system integrations. Familiarity with accounting software, e.g., CaseWare, GoSystem, CCH, and integrations tools such as Datablend or other middleware. Knowledge of a professional services environment and accounting services industry preferred. Other Requirements: You must be able to pass a background check, including a credit check, at any time to remain eligible for this position. Salary Range: $101,640 minimum to $152,646 maximum USD. BENEFITS Comprehensive Insurance Coverage: fully paid medical, dental, vision, life, short‑term and long‑term disability, AD&D insurance for employees. Dependent coverage is subsidized, with all benefits starting on your first day. Paid parental leave to support you and your family during important life moments. Professional Growth: cover licensing, certifications, tuition, and association fees.
