Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,230 - $1,300
Location: Springfield, Ohio (zip 45504) - Ohio nursing jobs, travel nursing jobs in Ohio
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (June 29, 2026 - September 28, 2026)
Shift: 12-hour days
Hours per Week: 36
Unit: 30-bed MS/Telemetry unit (neuro, cardiac, renal, med/surg focus)
Team Nursing: Collaborative care model, 1:10 nurse-to-patient ratio
Qualifications / Job Requirements Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Ohio (required)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
Completion of Basic Arrhythmia class with passing grade on exam (required for Telemetry/Remote Telemetry)
LPN EKG exam required (medication portion not needed)
Minimum 1 year recent acute care/hospital experience (med-surg/telemetry experience preferred)
EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training (preferred)
Professional appearance: navy blue scrubs required
Responsibilities - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Provide skilled nursing care and administer medications under RN supervision in an LTC/acute med-surg setting
Participate in the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
Collect and document patient data, focused observations, and updates to the plan of care in the EHR
Administer ordered treatments (wound care, respiratory/bronchodilator treatments)
Perform phlebotomy and EKG monitoring as required for telemetry patients
Monitor and promptly report significant changes in patient condition to the interdisciplinary team
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
Adhere to infection control protocols and facility safety policies
Care for a diverse patient population including neuro/neurosurgical, cardiac, renal, and med/surg cases
