Position Summary: Per Diem
The Avitum Clinical Specialist/Clinical Product Educator will provide education/training to our existing or potential customers on the use of B. Braun Medical's renal therapy products. The Clinical Specialist/Clinical Product Educator works with Sales Representatives and the Clinical Manager to advance the sales process and maximize customer satisfaction through in-service education, webinars, training programs, clinical and product troubleshooting, and follow-up activities. Product focus revolves primarily around the Avitum renal therapies product line but may include any of the product portfolio. The educator functions as a clinical and product expert representing B. Braun Medical in the healthcare community.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties
- Focus on current and potential clinical issues, concepts, and applications relevant to B. Braun Medical, and incorporate clinical activities with sales and marketing activities.
- Provide clinical support to other B. Braun Divisions and Renal Therapies staff.
- Develop educational/training materials to assist B. Braun customers and staff.
- Provide sales support to position B. Braun to close the sale.
- Conduct myself in a professional manner at all times to portray a Professional image of B. Braun.
- Work with accounts to maximize their satisfaction with B. Braun Medical and its clinical products.
- Provide the initial presentation of machines to potential Renal Therapies Division customer.
- Train potential customers and Renal Therapies Division personnel.
- Analyze current clinical trends in the marketplace and communicate it to the division.

Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc
Required:
- Graduated from an accredited school.
- Must have current RN or PCT/CCHT.
Desired:
- 5 years experience Nephrology/Dialysis.
- CNN/CDN preferred.
- In-service experience preferred.
Other:
- Must understand nephrology clinical concepts.
- Must have computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Internet.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must maintain confidentiality of all patients, hospital, and corporate related information.
- Ability to organize multitask functions.
- Must be self-directed and motivated.
- Must be able to provide confident decision-making skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with others.
Salary: $50/hour
