Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Nursing Assistant, you will help our patients navigate their hospital stay by assisting them with basic activities of daily living and closely monitoring their physical comfort so they can feel safer, more comfortable, and supported throughout their healing journey. Every day you will diligently manage essential patient care tasks, which includes checking vital signs and changing bed linens. You will be expected to remain highly observant of changes in a patient's condition, maintain a proactive workflow, and collaborate closely with the nursing team to ensure high-quality care. To be successful in this role, you must possess a genuine desire to help others feel better, accept feedback and coaching well, and demonstrate a strong eagerness to continuously learn and grow as a care provider.
Conduct hourly rounds on approximately 8 to 10 patients, checking vitals, maintaining whiteboard information, and assisting with care as needed Collaborates with RN in implementation of plan Assists patients with activities of daily living according to standards of care and hospital protocol Reports significant observed or reported alterations in the patient condition Assists with patient admission, discharge and transfer Job RequirementsRequiredHigh School Diploma or GED American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate PreferredDocumentation of successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training program One (1) to Three (3) years Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting
