This role involves producing images for interpretation by licensed practitioners and requires adherence to various educational and procedural standards. ResponsibilitiesPerform radiographic exams as requested by healthcare providers. Conduct fluoroscopic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures alongside radiology providers. Assist with US guided procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis. Educate patients on preparation and post-care for radiology procedures. Support radiology nursing with fluoroscopically guided PICC placements. Execute c-arm fluoroscopy exams in the OR as needed. Complete necessary documentation for image interpretation and archiving. Engage in quality monitoring and improvement initiatives. Provide education for radiography students and new hires. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureGraduate of a CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent. Montana Radiology Technologist Licensure. American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification. American Heart Association BLS certification. One (1) year of previous radiology experience, including clinical internship.
