Contributes to Facility quality assessment and improvement initiatives. Develops and updates instant and comprehensive Care Plans as needed. Transcribes, clarifies, and implements physician's order. Administers and monitors residents medications and treatments per physician's orders. Maintains accurate medications administration records and treatment administration records. Verifies medication cart is secure and clean. Secures narcotics per Facility policy and state regulations. Communicates status of residents to incoming licensed personnel according to established procedures at shift change. Document patients' progress and outcomes using electronic medical records. Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in nursing. Participate in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Nursing. Current state license as a LPN. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
