Administers physical therapy in compliance with Federal, State, local, and Bethany Village standards, policies, and guidelines ensuring quality care and service to Bethany Village residents. Interacts with health professionals, residents, families, and support groups to ensure the maximum rehabilitation, while serving as a client advocate at all times. Evaluates residents by administering muscle, neurological, gait, and functional tests. Establishes treatment goals based on the evaluation of the resident in conjunction with the resident's needs. Develops treatment programs and provides ongoing assessments and modification as changes in resident's condition occur. Prepares, transmits, and maintains timely and accurate records to include the initial evaluation, progress notes, discharge summary, and attendance records. Complies with OSHA standards and ensures the safety of the resident in their care at all times. Adheres to infection control policies, professional therapeutic services policies and all Bethany Village policies and procedures. Adhere to all policies and procedures of the organization and all federal and state laws regarding the privacy of protected health information. Adhere to all policies and procedures of the organization regarding the use of technology and technology-based information. Responsible for welcoming and on-boarding new employees. Performs other duties as directed.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Physical Therapy (Master's degree preferred). Current Ohio Physical Therapy License. Minimum Experience: At least two years physical therapy experience in long-term health care setting. Top Benefits
