Job Description Job Summary: The LPN is responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care to residents in various care units, ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet residents' individual needs and promote overall well-being. Responsibilities:
Coordinate and deliver nursing care to residents in designated units, including long-term and rehab settings. Utilize verbal and non-verbal communication techniques to effectively understand and address residents' behaviors and needs. Administer treatments such as wound care, IV therapy, and geriatric assessments as required. Document residents' conditions and care provided accurately in compliance with healthcare standards. Float between units as needed to ensure operational coverage and resident care continuity. Collaborate with care team members to develop and update care plans tailored to each resident. Qualifications:
Hold an active Maine State or compact Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Possess 1-3 years of relevant nursing experience preferred. Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills. Have basic knowledge of medical terminology (preferred). Be flexible to work 24/7 and adapt to different units and schedules. Be willing to work with residents with complex needs, including cognitive impairments. Benefits & Growth:
