Current New Jersey Physical Therapy Assistant license
Minimum of 2 years of PTA experience
What You'll Do:
Assist Physical Therapists in providing therapeutic treatments and rehabilitation procedures for residents/patients
Guide, motivate, and support patients in improving mobility, strength, and daily functional activities
Monitor patient progress during treatments, document observations, and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist
Measure range of motion, vital signs, and other treatment-related data to support patient evaluations and care planning
Fit, adjust, and educate patients on the proper use of braces, prosthetics, walkers, wheelchairs, canes, and other supportive devices
Collaborate with therapy staff and interdisciplinary care teams while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with professional, ethical, and legal standards
