Job Summary: Responsible for the operation of daily performance of the Radiology Department. Essential Job Functions:
Ability to select, train, motivate and develop subordinates as well as maintain department budget. Advises the senior management on Diagnostic technology initiatives and serves as a resource to departments and committees. Provides direction for the Radiologic staff in managing the day to day operations of Radiology. Oversees Joint Commission, TDH, regulatory, and unit compliance, maintaining a smooth functioning healthcare team and also serves as senior Radiologist Technologist advisor. Coordinates and provides direct patient care in a timely effective manner in collaboration with other healthcare team members.

Education: Graduate of a recognized, approved American Medical Association Council of Education program in radiologic technology; bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. Licensure: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; Certification by A.R.R.T on Computed Tomography or registry eligible. BLS Required
Skills:
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Ability to recognize subtle differences between healthy and pathological areas. Must possess a positive and courteous attitude and take the initiative to go beyond what is expected in a teamwork environment.
