Conduct thorough evaluations of patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using standard assessments and observational methods. Design individualized treatment plans tailored to meet short-term objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Deliver professional, one-on-one speech therapy focused on enhancing communication skills, language development, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing functionality. Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to implement unified care strategies. Empower patients and families with education that supports therapeutic progress beyond clinical sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring a seamless treatment progression. Maintain accurate and timely records compliant with relevant state, federal, and organizational standards. Stay informed about advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing education and collaborative learning opportunities. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Fulfillment of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified. Certifications
Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment. Skills
