Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2448 $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUSOpportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Variable shift scheduling with every other weekend and holiday requirements • Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:2 standard, 1:1 for higher acuity patients, 1:3 for med-surg/floor status patients • Work in 16-bed Surgical ICU plus 2 additional procedural beds • Care for cardiovascular surgery patients, trauma patients, NSTEMI/STEMI, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, and other surgical patients requiring ICU care • Must have experience with high acuity patients and ICU patient populations • Required to titrate drips including epinephrine, norepinephrine, propofol, precedex, vasopressin, dobutamine, heparin, insulin, and others • Monitor and document patient telemetry strips independently using GE monitors • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS • Preferred certifications: TNCC • Experience with CRRT, IABP, Impella, and ECMO preferred but not required • Must complete one day system onboarding, two orientation shifts on unit, and skills checklist • Floating requirements to MICU or patient observer roles when not needed in SICU • Professional dress code with no specific color requirements • Use Cerner charting system • Must clock in and out at facility • BSN not required Facility: This medical center serves as a tertiary care facility and Level 2 trauma center providing comprehensive healthcare services. The facility features a well-equipped Surgical ICU with 24/7 intensivist coverage, respiratory therapy services, and nursing house supervision. The organization maintains high standards for patient care with advanced equipment including ventilators, BIPAP, Vapotherm, and specialized cardiac support devices, serving as a regional referral center for complex medical and surgical cases.
