Schedule - Weekends: Every other weekend - Call: 10 days per month
Assignment Details - Contract Length: Varies - Guaranteed Hours: 8 per day
Requirements - Minimum 1 year clinical experience - RN licensure: GA or Compact license required - Certifications: BLS - Core clinical skills:
- Interventional procedures: accessing/managing ports, angioplasty, aortography
- Vascular/endovascular: EVAR, TEVAR, central venous access (non-tunneled/PICC)
- Experience with Hybrid OR / Special Procedures and PACS - Systems used: Epic, Pyxis, PACS
Roles & Responsibilities - Assist in interventional radiology procedures in a hybrid OR setting. - Manage patient care throughout the interventional radiology process. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams. - Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures. - Utilize electronic medical records for patient documentation and tracking.
Compliance / Notes - Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant, start may be pushed 2 weeks. - All compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start. - Orientation hours are non-billable and prorated by contract length. - Maximum 7 days RTO per contract with a blackout period during Spring Break.
