Position Overview: We're hiring four dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists in Monterey County. In this role, you'll provide both direct and indirect services to students with diverse communication needs from kindergarten through high school. Your expertise will support each student's ability to communicate effectively, succeed academically, and participate more fully in school and life. Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Assessments - Conduct speech-language evaluations and re-evaluations - Assess articulation, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language, and pragmatic skills Personalized Intervention - Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals - Deliver direct therapy (individual and group) using evidence-based practices - Adjust goals and strategies based on student progress and team input Collaborative Engagement - Partner with educators, families, and school staff to support generalization of skills - Participate in IEP meetings, offering clinical insight and advocacy for student needs - Share tools, strategies, and updates to keep everyone aligned Professional Compliance - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress - Ensure all services meet state and district guidelines
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain one) School-based or pediatric experience preferred Familiarity with the IEP process and IDEA Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
