Veterinary Technician Position Countryside Veterinary Hospital is Hiring a Veterinary Technician! Role: Veterinary Technician Status: Full-time Salary: $20–$30 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Flexible scheduling, including nights, rotating weekends, and rotating holidays Looking for a Veterinary Technician Role Where You Can Continue Growing? What You'll Do
Triage patients and obtain thorough histories, vitals, and patient assessments Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care from intake through discharge Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection Monitor patients and provide supportive nursing care, including TPRs, pain scoring, and wound care Educate clients on patient care, medications, discharge instructions, and preventative care Support surgical and anesthesia procedures while maintaining excellent patient safety standards
What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred Experienced veterinary assistant or technician candidates are welcome Strong technical skills, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory procedures Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support preferred Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude Strong communication and client service skills Passion for continued learning and growth within veterinary medicine
