LSC has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Process Engineer to join a pharmaceutical company in Cork. You will be working in a site that supplies active ingredients through complex chemical synthesis and biotechnology manufacturing processes for a range of therapeutics. Description The Senior Process Engineer will be working as part of the multidiscipline project engineering team on site. Previous design experience in the Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology industry is essential. Required Skills: Process calculations and development of PFDs and P&IDs (LM & SM) Preparation of specifications for process equipment. Interface with supplier's engineers to prepare technical bid analysis and recommendations. Design of process equipment, P&IDs, material & personnel flows, process utilities, waste streams. Client liaison, attendance at project meetings etc Design support and input to the Project / Construction team. Education, Experience and Skills: Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering Ideally a chartered engineer or progressing towards chartership Completion of Design Risk Assessments Organised and adaptable with a flexible approach to Process/Project Engineering. At least 10 years design experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical sectors Other Requirements: Note: Are you currently eligible to work in Ireland?
