Ensures a safe environment related to equipment, bed/cart rails, patient's mental status.
Provides education that includes explanation and rationale for all test, equipment and procedures explaining to patient prior to performance.
Allows control and choices over situations and environment as appropriate to condition and situation.
Allows for cultural and religious beliefs in providing services.
Observes for signs of abuse/neglect.
Facilitates maintenance of body image. Respects privacy and confidentiality.
Job Requirements Required
Successful completion of a fully accredited (full accreditation means the training program is accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied-Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or a similar, nationally recognized, accrediting agency), training program in the pertinent modality for which the employee is being hired.
One or more years of experience
Should any of the requirements (completion of the program or achieving registration/certification) not be obtained, in the specified time-frame, a single three month extension may be considered and granted at the discretion of the management.

Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography, or
