Set-up andoperateall blending equipment to meet the Manufacturing Order (MO) instructions per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Processworksorders efficiently and accuratelyaccording to theManufacturing Order (MO) instructions and the daily production schedule.
Create production batch samples of completed blends tofacilitateQuality Assurance testing requirements.
Prepare chemical solutions according to the formulas.
Calculate quantities. Weigh, verify,documentand complete batches.
Properly disassemble & reassemble equipment for cleaning following all safety guidelines.
Understand all part numbers, lot numbers, and product descriptions as they relate to the Manufacturing Order (MO).
Update andmaintainall required logs and paperwork within the department (i.e.: equipmentuses, cleaning logs, Manufacturing Order (MO) accurately.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment to ensure efficiency, employee safety, and product integrity.
Record all formulations, dip sequences and speeds, chemical and physical propertyresults,and subjective observations throughout the development process.
Utilize auxiliary equipment like drum mixers, paddlemixer, floor scales,hoses,flow meters,pumps,and pallet scales during the compounding process.
Accurately document all aspects of the formulation in production batch recordsaccording to GDP.
Provide technical updates to project leadership for all ongoing workassignments.
Communicate equipment status and operational needs tooperationsmanagement.
Ensure cGMPand safetycompliance (OSHA/EPA regulations)
Ensure company safety requirements aremaintained.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Minimum of high school diploma, Associate Technical degreepreferred.
1-3 years’ experience inindustrialmaterial handling.
Strong attention to detail,precisionand focus on all tasks assigned.
Willingness to change direction and focus promptly to meet shifting organizational and business demands.
Knowledge inhandlingwater-based polymer materials as well as the compounding processes,acquiredeither through experience or education preferred.
Continuouslydemonstratea strong and efficient performance in all aspects of compounding, mixing, dipping, processmeasurements,and testing activities.
CertifiedForkliftor Boom lift operator preferred.
Individualsare required towearappropriate PPEand interpret documentationcontainingsafety guidance.
Ability to work individually and as part of a teamtocreate and contribute to an environment that values people and encourages trust, teamwork, and open communication.
Ability to effectively manage oneself,demonstrateintegrity, be productive under pressure, and achieve developmentalgoals.
Must be able to read with comprehension and interpret department policies and procedures.
Mustbe able to write legibly.
Must be able to perform basicmathematicalcalculations.
Able to communicate clearly with others orally, in writing and electronically.
Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
Ability to communicate effectivelywithteam members and superiors.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
3+yearsrelatedexperiencein a manufacturing environment.
Must be certified tooperateforkliftwhen applicable.
Must be certified tooperateclamptruckwhen applicable.
