Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions with an emphasis on language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques. Team up with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, and family members to formulate comprehensive care strategies. Provide education for patients and their families to encourage progress beyond therapy sessions. Support inpatient therapy evaluations as needed, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout their rehabilitation journey. Keep precise and timely documentation that complies with state, federal, and organization-specific guidelines. Commit to continuous professional development by staying informed about advancements in the field through education and collaboration with peers. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be necessary if you are not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certification from ASHA (CCC-SLP) is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of employment. Skills
