Overview Bright Now! Dental supported by Smile Brands is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in Stafford, VA! We are looking for a skilled and dependable Dental Assistant with experience supporting both general dentistry and specialty procedures. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment. Schedule (days/hours) Monday thru Thursday7:45am-5pm, Fridays 7:45am-4pm, Saturday 7am-2pm once a month ResponsibilitiesAssist doctors during general and specialty dental procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records Ensure patient comfort and provide exceptional chairside support Educate patients on treatment and post-operative care instructions Support efficient clinical flow and teamwork throughout the office QualificationsPrevious dental assisting experience required Experience assisting with both general dentistry and specialty procedures required Strong knowledge of dental terminology and clinical procedures X-ray certification required (per state regulations) Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment
