Sales Engineer
A growing precision manufacturer is seeking a technically minded Sales Engineer to serve as the primary commercial point of contact for customers across quoting, order management, and ongoing account support. This is a hybrid technical and commercial role that bridges customers with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure orders move accurately and on time. The role is ideal for someone who is comfortable interpreting technical requirements, communicating directly with customers, and operating in a fast paced CNC machining environment. Sales Engineer What You Will Do Serve as the main point of contact for customers on quote inquiries, purchase order placement, order status, and related commercial activity Act as liaison between customers and internal teams including Engineering, Production, Quality, IT, and Upper Management Enter quotes and purchase orders accurately and on time Build and maintain customer relationships that drive growth and trust in the business Interact with customers by phone, email, and in person, including travel to customer sites as needed Support estimating and engineering with required technical documentation Track and expedite order status using milestone charts and other tools to keep customers and internal teams aligned Support marketing with input on presentations, website content, brochures, and related materials Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and the effectiveness of the QMS Sales Engineer What You Bring 3+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred, CNC machining experience is a strong plus Bachelor's in engineering or equivalent experience Background in an engineering or sales function with direct customer facing communication Strong proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Strong communication and time management skills Ability to translate technical detail into clear customer conversations Team oriented approach with a positive, accountable attitude Sales Engineer Compensation and Opportunity Strong base salary with competitive benefits High visibility role with direct exposure to customers, engineering, and leadership Opportunity to grow commercial and technical depth in a precision CNC machining environment Ability to make a measurable impact on customer experience and revenue growth Relocation considered for a strong fit
