Speech-Language Pathologist Job Category: JCFS-JVS Srvcs for People w/ Dis Requisition Number: SPEEC005252 Full-Time Chicago, IL 60645, USA Description The Integrated Pediatric Therapies (IPT) department works as a team with the children birth through adolescence who have disabilities and delays. Working to grow independence and help children reach their greatest potential. The IPT team is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work directly with individuals and groups in a clinical environment. Responsibilities:
Performs the full range of clinical duties, including the gathering and analysis of data, formulation of treatment plans, and implementation of the intervention for routine and complex cases. Performs assessments of each client using information provided, standardized tools and/or analysis of clinical observation. Formulates understanding of clients' needs, including the family, providing appropriate services with supervisory consultation. Performs record keeping functions and other administrative duties as required by the Agency. Participates in agency staff development programs and professional group seminars or conferences to increase professional knowledge and to report on own work. Collaborates with other agency personnel, supervisor, appropriate specialists or consultants on specific case related problems. Evaluation and diagnosis of students identified with speech/language impairments.
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech and Hearing Association; IL state license in Speech and Language Pathology Early Intervention Credential in Speech and Language Pathology optional Must have access to a reliable vehicle to travel in the Chicago metropolitan area, as this position requires site visits to locations which may or may not be accessible by public transportation

Job Code: Exempt Compensation: The starting compensation for this position is between $62,000 - $75,000 based on experience.
