Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create personalized therapy strategies that help them reach their goals Implement Therapeutic Practices: Apply evidence-based interventions to facilitate improvements in motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily activities Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in unison with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, empathetic care Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their loved ones through therapeutic techniques to promote continued progress at home Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on their path to success Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institute Encouraged participation in ongoing education and certification opportunities Certifications
Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory Skills
