Conduct evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods. Craft individual treatment plans that address specific communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals. Deliver personalized speech therapy focusing on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing techniques. Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team including occupational and physical therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to ensure an integrated approach to care. Provide guidance and education to patients and their families to enhance progress outside of therapy sessions. Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain precise documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in continuing education and collaborate with colleagues to stay at the forefront of the field. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified. Certifications
Active state licensure for a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Skills
