Conduct evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient settings while developing personalized treatment plans Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and home exercise routines Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility and regulatory standards Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to guarantee coordinated care efforts Education
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution Certifications
State licensure as a Physical Therapist CPR certification is preferred Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous, though not required Skills
Prior experience in the field is strongly preferred Ability to manage patients with intricate medical and mobility challenges Excellent communication and collaborative skills Proficient with digital charting and clinical documentation systems Benefits
