Conduct assessments for patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through standardized evaluations and careful observation. Create tailored treatment plans designed to meet immediate goals while also addressing longer-term communication, cognition, or swallowing needs. Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions focusing on vital areas such as communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate integrated care plans. Guide patients and their families with education that extends progress beyond therapy sessions. Facilitate occasional inpatient evaluations and therapies, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the recovery process. Keep thorough and timely documentation that complies with state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in ongoing education and peer collaboration to remain abreast of advancements in your field. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized and accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet attained. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, to be obtained within the initial 30 days of employment. Skills
