A valid Ohio Speech-Language License from the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (OBSLPA) and the Ohio Department of Education (ODE), or CFY eligible Expertise in the identification and implementation of a speech-language therapy program Master's Degree
As a Speech Language Pathologist to promote workplace safety, employees are expected to exercise caution and comply with district procedures to reduce exposure to the following situations:
Provide quality therapy to preschool (3-5 years), and/or K-12 programs district wide. This may include home-based instruction Provide direct and consultive services to students, teachers, staff and families. Maintain complete and accurate therapy records and comply with ETR and IEP timelines. Maintain positive interpersonal relationships and believe in teamwork. Organize assignments and time without compromising quality of service to achieve maximum student academic performance. Continually achieve personal and professional development.
What We Offer:As a Full Time contracted employee, Speech Language Pathologist work 183 days, 8 hours per day per year with a possibility of extended days. Part Time: Hourly position optional Starting salary is in accordance with the negotiated agreement, increases with experience and education. In addition, Springfield is also able to offer a $3,000 retention compensation to all Speech Language Pathologists. Contracted employees receive competitive benefits. All employees receive professional development The Springfield Education Association and the Board of Education are currently working on a new professional agreement. While that is in the works, please refer to the current agreement as to pay and benefits that are in place for the 2025-26 school year. Salary details available below in the Springfield Education Association (SEA) negotiated agreement:
