Position Overview As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting veterinarians and technicians with patient treatments, procedures, and daily hospital operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and values teamwork, communication, and compassionate animal care. Work Schedule
Flexible weekday scheduling available Morning and evening shift options Rotating weekends and holidays required Key Responsibilities
Assist medical staff with examinations, treatments, and procedures Gather patient histories and prepare pets for appointments Educate clients on preventive healthcare recommendations Assist with anesthesia preparation and patient monitoring Perform blood collection, catheter placement, and diagnostic testing Safely handle and restrain patients during procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout treatment areas Support overall hospital efficiency and patient care standards Services Offered at Our Facility
Preventive and wellness medicine Illness and urgent care visits Dentistry and surgical services Rehabilitation therapies Reproductive medicine Minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures Laser therapy treatments Acupuncture services Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience working as a Veterinary Assistant Familiarity with preventive healthcare protocols, including vaccines and parasite prevention Experience performing venipuncture and catheter placement Knowledge of laboratory equipment and diagnostic procedures Comfortable assisting with anesthesia and patient monitoring Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Benefits & Perks
