Employing advanced radiography and CT techniques to provide accurate diagnostic images for interpretation Collaborating closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals to achieve precise diagnoses Positioning patients thoughtfully and adjusting equipment to ensure optimal imaging Observing strict radiation safety measures for the well-being of patients and colleagues Keeping detailed records, such as imaging logs and maintenance schedules Delivering exceptional patient care during the entire imaging process Helping to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient imaging space Education Requirements
An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous Graduation from an accredited program in radiology Certifications Required
ARRT certification (in CT and/or Radiography) Current BLS certification, or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire Essential Skills for Success
Expertise in diagnostic imaging protocols and safety procedures Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and interdisciplinary teams Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Attentiveness to detail coupled with a strong sense of responsibility Technology-savvy, comfortable with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software What Awaits You
