The Retail Supervisor is a key member of the store leadership team, supporting exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, and maintaining efficient store operations. This role oversees daily functions including merchandising, inventory, training, and marketing execution, while leading the team during assigned shifts.
When the Store Manager or Assistant Manager is unavailable, the Supervisor assumes leadership responsibilityensuring smooth operations, motivating the team, and upholding a positive, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, knowledgeable service across in-store, phone, and digital channels
- Lead sales floor operations and guide team members to maximize results
- Provide coaching, feedback, and direction to support team performance
- Execute opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and store protocols
- Manage merchandising, inventory, and visual presentation standards
- Resolve customer and employee concerns professionally
- Support sales through recommendations, transactions, and product expertise
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Assist with inventory counts, stockroom organization, and loss prevention
- Contribute ideas for store events and community engagement
Qualifications
- Prior retail or supervisory experience preferred
- Background in specialty retail, activewear, or outdoor apparel is a plus
- Passion for an active, outdoor lifestyle aligned with prAna's brand
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and age 18+
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move throughout the store and communicate regularly
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed
- Perform tasks such as standing, bending, and light cleaning

Pay Range: $18.70 - $26.93 Expected Pay Range for Hire: $18.70 - $24.19*Pay decisions are determined by multiple factors, including what the market is paying, a candidate's capabilities and skills, years of experience, and internal equity.
