• Compensation: $18.00 per hour + commission

As Banquet Captain, you are the primary point of contact for event organizers and the conductor of our banquet team. You will oversee operations from flawless setup to efficient breakdown, keeping service standards high and energy even higher.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead & Inspire: Supervise, train, and delegate tasks to banquet servers and bartenders.
• Flawless Execution: Ensure dining, buffet, and bar setups match Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and look spectacular.
• Guest Connection: Greet clients warmly, anticipate needs, and swiftly handle any issues with grace.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards for dish presentation, inventory control (china, glass, silver), and front-of-house cleanliness.

• Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Banquet Captain or 1 year as a Banquet Server.
• Credentials: Must be 21+ with a Mobile County Health Food/Beverage Handler's Card. High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Skills: Fluent in English, exceptional interpersonal skills, sharp problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with POS systems.
• The Vibe: A positive attitude, a polished professional appearance, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
• Detail-Oriented: You notice the little things that turn a good stay into a great one.
• Flexible: Ready to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays to support the house.
• Physical: Comfortable standing for the duration of a shift and lifting up to 50 lbs.
