Position Purpose: The OB/GYN Physician will be a core member of the interdisciplinary Patient Centered Primary Care Team. OB/GYN is responsible for providing medical diagnosis, treatment services, and managing quality health care services to patients of Aviva Health. Provides quality of care to patients, consistent with his/her training and expertise, and appropriate to the ambulatory care setting provided. Acts as consultant for and provides guidance for Advanced Practice Providers regarding clinical practice issues. Primary Duties:
Conduct thorough patient consultations, examinations, and assessments to diagnose and develop appropriate treatment plans. Provide exceptional prenatal, postnatal, and general obstetric and gynecological care to patients, ensuring their overall well-being. Collaborates frequently with Midwives and other multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver comprehensive patient care. Stay up to date with advancements in obstetrics and gynecology by actively participating in professional development activities, such as conferences, workshops, and continuing education opportunities. Opportunity teach Family Medicine resident physicians both in the outpatient clinic and inpatient environment. Utilization of state-of-the-art technology to utilize Divinci Robot for surgical cases. Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Board certification or eligibility for certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Oregon. Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges at CHI Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg Oregon Willingness to teach Family Medicine resident physicians both in the outpatient clinic and inpatient environment. Demonstrated competency in performing a variety of obstetric and gynecological surgeries. Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals. Dedication to maintaining high ethical standards and adherence to best practices inpatient care.
