Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment as directedRepairing overhead cranes, A/C equipment, welding machines, air compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, hot dip galvanizing kettles, boiler, bag houses, production equipment, etc.Maintains compliance with OSHA standards, company policies and other federal and state regulationsAssist in all areas of maintenance as assignedAble to diagnose basic electrical/mechanical breakdownsInstalls, repairs, rebuilds: wiring and maintains a variety of mechanical/electrical and electronic equipment such as motors, forklifts, manlifts, transformers, alarms, machines, relays, circuit breakers, etc.Must have good working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and mechanical for shop equipmentEffective verbal and written communication skills
Requirements
Qualifications:
Basic electrical and mechanical knowledgeExperience with welding and torchesAble to work well with team members and independentlyMust have high awareness of safety (wear PPE)Ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructionsMust have tools
Experience:
5+ years of related experience and/or training
Salary Description
$17 - $24 Depending on Experience
