Continuous Improvement Project Manager Location: Clonmel, Co. Tipperary Salary: €80,000 €90,000 plus additional benefits Managing capital projects from €50k - €10m Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Continuous Improvement Project Manager to lead and deliver key capital and operational improvement projects across a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will focus on driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing site installations, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to operational and compliance objectives. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Technical and Health & Safety teams, while managing external suppliers and contractors to ensure successful project execution. Qualifications / Experience / Skills Minimum 5 years relevant experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment Proven track record delivering continuous improvement and capital projects within industry Strong understanding of Manufacturing and Management Systems Demonstrated Project Management capability with experience delivering projects to agreed timelines and budgets High-energy, proactive, and self-motivated approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a wider management team Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Logical and analytical problem-solving approach Positive, solutions-focused mindset with a strong can-do attitude Passion for continuous improvement, operational excellence, and change management Key Responsibilities Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to: Lead and project manage new installations across the site, including Capital and Continuous Improvement projects Drive a culture of continuous improvement across all business functions Develop and implement annual CI and Capital Installation plans aligned to operational objectives Collaborate with key stakeholders including Quality, Technical, Health & Safety, Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams to understand and deliver business requirements Analyse existing business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement sustainable solutions Conduct process reviews to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and operational constraints, implementing corrective actions where required Lead process improvement initiatives focused on OEE improvement, waste reduction, lead time optimisation, and operational efficiency Ensure all projects and improvement activities are completed in line with compliance, food safety, and quality standards Benchmark industry best practice and recommend innovative solutions to improve site performance Apply Lean Manufacturing and structured problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes and drive corrective actions Support and promote a strong food safety and quality culture across the organisation Manage external suppliers and contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to agreed standards Whats on Offer Competitive salary package of €80,000 €90,000 Additional company benefits Opportunity to lead high-impact operational and capital projects Key leadership role within a progressive manufacturing environment Strong opportunity to influence operational strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
