Our growing company is searching for experienced candidates for the position of front desk supervisor. Responsibilities for front desk supervisorEnsure the entire front desk team work with a sales focused attitude and are aware of sales opportunities within the hotel which will assist with the maximization of revenueTo deliver loyalty program benefits and promote enrolment of Hilton HHonorsTraining of Team membersSupervise the day-to-day operations of the unit, leading and mentoring staffProvide input in hiring decisions and performance of workgroupServe as a subject matter expert for the unit Participate with other departments and represent the unit as neededProcess non-standard requests, initiate appropriate documentation and notify other departments and/or coordinate with outside agencies as neededWork closely with others in department to identify and correct problems and make recommendations to remedy problemsKeep track of correspondence and interactions with customer using a customer relationship management toolMay act as supervisor in supervisor's absenceQualifications for front desk supervisorMay represent Stanford at public events, such as fairs, athletic events and registrations, greet and serve as a resource on unit and general inquiriesComply with the discretionary information keepingMust follow CID rules and to cover CID role as directed by the ManagerSupervise front desk agents, ensuring the correct sequence of events for proper registration and checkout of guestsProvide training and support to front desk agentsKnowledge of Opera or Other world Class Property Management System is required
