Job Description:
Shipping receiving material handler
Monday to Friday no weekends
Submittals to Ellen and she will send to Mike or Geoff
Interview will be required
Preparing packages: Packing goods for shipment, ensuring they are properly labeled and secured. Tracking shipments: Monitoring the progressUsing UPS world ship shipping labels and systems Ensuring accuracy: Verifying shipping documents and labels for accuracy.
Receiving:
Accepting deliveries: Receiving goods from various carriers. Inventorying goods: Checking incoming items against shipping documents and ensuring they match. Handling damaged goods: Dealing with any issues related to damaged or missing items.
In essence, shipping and receiving clerks are responsible for everything is properly documented and tracked.
