Our team is growing, so we are offering a new opportunity for a Warehouse Associate.The Warehouse Associate is responsible for managing the movement of goods and materials in and out of the warehouse distribution center. This includes receiving and processing incoming shipments, preparing and shipping outgoing shipments, and ensuring accurate inventory levels. Here's what you'll get to do:
Pick, pack and label items for shipment, ensuring that they are secure and meet all regulatory requirementsSort, count, and label items received, and store them in designated areasMaintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic inventory checksOperate forklifts or other warehouse equipment as neededMaintain a clean and organized warehouseCommunicate with other departments as necessary to ensure timely and accurate shipments
This is what will get you noticed:
Education: High school diploma or equivalentExperience: 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, with experience in shipping and receiving processesFamiliarity with shipping and inventory management software, such as UPS WorldShip or FedEx Ship ManagerExperience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipmentExperience with inventory management and record-keepingExperience communicating with vendors, carriers, and other departments to coordinate shipmentsCertifications: Forklift certification preferred
